On March 18, 2014, China Unicom’s TD-LTE 4G network was launched in 25 cities across the country, marking the official launch of China Unicom’s 4G era. If you apply for a new number, you can directly choose a 4G package to access the network through all channels including online business halls and physical business halls. Old 3G users who already have a number can make an appointment to switch to 4G in the online business hall. After the appointment is successful, the application can be officially processed on April 18.
