What is the social work service of Double Hundred Projects?

Guangdong Social Work for People's Livelihood Double Hundred Projects was jointly released by Guangdong Provincial Civil Affairs Department, Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance, guangdong provincial department of human resources and social security, Guangdong Women's Federation and Guangdong Disabled Persons' Federation in June 2020.

The project proposes to achieve 100% coverage of township (street) social work service stations and 100% coverage of social work services for needy people and special groups in two years.

Engineering background

The Civil Affairs Department of Guangdong Province began to implement the plan of 100 social workers in Guangdong Province from 20 17. By the end of 2020, Guangdong Province has set up 407 "100-person" social work stations in townships (streets), employing social workers 1737, and adopting the principle of "taking root in one village (residence)".
