The first county in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to be named a national health county is Yijinhuoluo Banner.

Yijinhuoluo Banner was established as the first national health county in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2006. The 2020 review is the fourth round of review after the naming.

In the three years since it passed the last round of review, Yijinhuoluo Banner has combined the consolidation of the national health county creation achievements with the construction of a quality city and the creation of a civilized city.

Yijinhuoluo Banner is a banner under the jurisdiction of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the southeastern part of the Ordos Plateau and the northeastern edge of the Mu Us Sandy Land. It is adjacent to Dongsheng District in the north and separated from Kangbashi District by Wulanmu. Facing each other across the Lun River, it borders Jungar Banner to the east, Hangjin Banner to the west, Wushen Banner to the south, and borders Shaanxi Province across the Great Wall.
