The World Trade Plaza is located atNo. 1 Austin Road West, West Kowloon, China.

It is the seventh development project of Union Square in Kowloon Station of Hong Kong Metro. It is wholly developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties with a total construction area of 2,822,039 square feet. The first stage was completed in September 2008, and the remaining floors are expected to be completed from 20 1 1 to 20 12. At the end of 2008, enterprises of all sizes entered the World Trade Center one after another. When Sun Hung Kai Properties successfully won the right to develop the seventh phase of Kowloon Station in 2000, it did not immediately name the building. Until August 2005, Sun Hung Kai Properties used the name MegaTower to package the building in its activities to promote the new life in Victoria Harbour. However, this name is the same as the English name of MegaTowerHotel in Wan Chai, which Hopewell Industrial plans to build, causing the dissatisfaction of Hopewell Industrial.

Architectural model

World Trade Plaza is a comprehensive building with 1 18 floors, and it is the last development project of Kowloon Station. The exterior of the building was designed by Kohn Pedersen FoxAssociates, a world-renowned architectural company. The horizontal height of the usable floor is 490 meters, while the actual height is 484 meters.

The building provides 2.5 million square feet of Grade A office buildings, with a floor area of about 35,000 square feet, and the highest clear floor is 2.85 ~ 3.15m, with advanced design and high intelligent facilities. There is a six-star hotel on the top floor of the building, providing 365,438+02 rooms.
