This year, it is planned to renovate 318 old urban communities, benefiting 92,000 residents. So far, a total of 318 projects have been started, with the operating rate reaching 100%. Among them, the old residential areas built before 2000 in the East Bank urban area have basically been renovated, and the urban villages within the built-up area have basically been renovated.

It is reported that during the three-year period, Qingdao plans to renovate 1,108 old urban communities, benefiting 300,000 residents. Qingdao City will accelerate the implementation of 2 long-distance heat supply pipelines, 2 high-pressure natural gas pipelines, 10 water treatment facilities, 4 garbage treatment facilities were constructed, 13 "coal-to-gas" projects for clean heating were implemented, the "coal-to-gas" work was completed in the built-up areas of Shinan, Shibei, Licang, and Laoshan, and "coal-free" heating was realized in the east coast urban areas. It is reported that in 2022, it is planned to promote the construction of 17 key projects, including 5 renewal projects and 12 new projects.

The five continued construction projects include: Huaneng Dongjiakou Power Plant to the long-distance thermal pipeline in the western part of the new district, Jiaozhou Bay submarine natural gas pipeline, Chengyang District Domestic Waste Transfer Station, Jiaozhou Circular Economy Industrial Park, Jifa Sewage treatment plant upgrade and renovation projects. Among them, the Jiaozhou Bay submarine natural gas pipeline project, as an important energy basic supporting project in our city, has been included in this year's municipal practical affairs. It has a total length of 72 kilometers and a submarine section of 12 kilometers. It is the longest sea-related urban gas pipeline in China. Among the 12 new projects, 7 clean heating "coal-to-gas" projects have all started. After completion, more than 15 gas-fired boilers will be activated and 19 coal-fired boilers will be shut down. Three projects including the expansion of the Maidao Sewage Treatment Plant, the fourth phase of the Chengyang District Sewage Treatment Plant, and the expansion and upgrading of the northern Jimo District Sewage Treatment Plant have also started. At the same time, Qingdao City plans to build 20 new three-dimensional pedestrian crossing facilities during the three-year period. As of now, 42 continuation projects are advancing as planned, 20 of the 22 new projects have started, and the operating rate has reached 91%, including 18 public parking lots and 2 bus parking lots. field.
