What do trade unions mainly do?

Trade unions are social organizations that safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Trade unions, or trade unions or workers' federations, originally meant to be social organizations spontaneously organized on the basis of common interests. This same interest group, such as employees working for the same employer, individuals in a certain industrial field. The main purpose of establishing a trade union organization is to negotiate wages and salaries, working hours and working conditions with employers.
