Precautions for cigarette packaging?

According to the relevant provisions and requirements of the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, People's Republic of China (PRC) Product Quality Law and People's Republic of China (PRC) Tobacco Monopoly Law, these Provisions are formulated.

Article 1 These Provisions shall apply to the carton packaging and labeling of all non-export cigarettes and imported cigarettes produced in China.

Article 2 misleading terms, such as "health care", "curative effect", "safety", "environmental protection" and "low harm". It is prohibited to use it on cigarette packaging and accompanying instructions. Terms describing cigarette quality such as "light", "ultra-light" and "soft"; Description of "low tar", "low tar" and "low tar content".

Article 3 Cigarette packaging shall be printed with Chinese characters and English health warnings according to the specifications of People's Republic of China (PRC). The warning content is divided into two groups:

Group 1: Smoking is harmful to health.

Smoking is harmful to your health.

Quitting smoking can reduce the harm to health.

Quitting smoking reduces health risks

Group 2: Smoking is harmful to health.

Smoking is harmful to your health.

Quitting smoking as soon as possible is good for your health.

Quitting smoking early is good for your health.

Article 4 Health warnings must be used in rotation. For cigarettes with the same brand, same specification, same package and same bar code circulating in the market, two groups of different health warning signs should be used in turn or at the same time every year, and the warning signs of cigarettes are not required to correspond to the packaging boxes one by one.

Article 5 Health warnings shall be located on the front and back of cigarette sticks and cigarette cases, with Chinese warnings on the front and corresponding English warnings on the back. The warning area should not be less than 30% of its area, and the background color can be the background color (pattern) of the original trademark.

Article 6 The health warning of box packaging shall be located at the lower part of its surface, and the health warning of box packaging shall be located at the right side of its surface.

Article 7 Health warnings shall be clear, definite, eye-catching and easy to identify. The Chinese font is bold and the English font is Arial Narrow. The height of Chinese fonts shall not be less than 2.0 mm, and the English fonts shall not be larger than the corresponding Chinese characters. The color group is different from the background color of the warning area.

Article 8 Cigarette packages shall be marked with information on smoke components and emissions such as tar content, nicotine content and carbon monoxide content in smoke according to national standards, and the Chinese font height shall not be less than 2.0 mm ... Other labels of cigarette sticks and cigarette cases shall also meet the relevant requirements of national standards.

Article 9 These Provisions shall come into force on June 5438+1 October1day, 2009, and the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine shall be responsible for the interpretation.
