In order to respond to the call of the Communist Youth League Student Union to organize college students' summer activities in the countryside, I actively signed up for the practice of "following the red footprint" in this summer. In this activity, I came into contact with many things that I have never been in contact with in the city. I learned the spirit of hard work, diligence and simplicity from the old Red Army and the people in mountainous areas. In the following time, I will actively apply what I have learned from this practical activity to my study and work.

The members of the "Pursuing Red Footprints" summer practice team in the countryside are composed of the following eight members:

At 9: 30am on July 5th, we set out for Xianju County to participate in social practice activities under the leadership of the team leader Pan He. It took two hours to reach the destination by car. The leaders of the local township government warmly received us and invited us to have dinner together in the canteen. The food in the canteen is not very rich, but it is welcomed by the local government. At 3 pm, we had a meeting with Secretary Cui. The meeting specially arranged our itinerary, accommodation and meals for the next few days.

At 5 o'clock, the leader of our hometown government visited Zhu Xiaoxiang, the first 80-year-old party member. When I arrived at Yangliuxia Village where Zhu Xiaoxiang was located, I learned that Zhu Xiaoxiang was working in the sweet potato field, and several other team members and I rushed to the sweet potato field again. Not far from the village, we met Zhu Xiaoxiang, an old man waving a hoe. The old man was very happy to learn that we had come to offer our condolences. Several team members helped the old man with his farm work under his guidance. Later, we rushed back to the old man's house with him, and he told us his revolutionary history. The old man 16 years old was absorbed by the party organization, and his left leg was inconvenient. He was injured in the battle against the reactionary Kuomintang government that year. The old man told us that our life now is really a hundred times better than that of their time. At that time, they could only send urgent messages on their legs. Now there are cars and computers. At the end of the communication with the elderly, the leaders of the township government and Li, the vice captain of our Taizhou TV University's "Pursuing the Red Footprint" practice team, sent solatium and condolences together, which the elderly accepted with pleasure. Our first visit to old party member came to a successful conclusion.

In the following days, we visited Yao Xihua, Yao Xihuan, Wu Hunan, Teng and other seven old party member and the old Red Army. From the contact and conversation with them, I really realized the spiritual essence of a native party member in China, and I am willing to give everything for the country, the party and the people. As a party school graduate, I need to learn a lot from them in order to meet the quality requirements of joining the China Party. In my opinion, those old party member people who lived in the revolutionary era braved hardships and dangers, would rather die than surrender, work for the people, and strive for progress, which are worth learning from party member and non-party member in our time.

At 8: 00 am on July 6th, our group set out for Yao 'an Village to visit the memorial hall of the former site of Xianju County Committee. Unfortunately, the days we went coincided with the renovation of the memorial hall, so the written materials were transferred. We can only learn about the revolutionary history of Xianju County from the items displayed in the memorial hall. There are party flag, pistols, muskets and some daily necessities for the frontier committee in the memorial hall. There is only one bed, a box stool, an oil lamp and a desk in the room of the Boundary Commission. I can't imagine how the Border Committee organized the people of Huangsanxianlin to wage unremitting struggle with the reactionary Kuomintang government under such circumstances.

On the morning of July 7th 10, Mr. Fang Min, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of our school, and Mr. Chen Honghua, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of our school, and other three people visited Zhang Shang Township, where we practiced. At noon, all the members of our practice team helped themselves in the kitchen, prepared lunch for the teachers, and invited the leaders of Zhang Shang Town Government to have dinner with the leaders of our school.

At 3pm, we visited Yinshan Village's "Oujiang Cai Li Paddy Fish Ecological Base". In the base, our team members actively asked the farmers about the basic situation of the "rice field fish breeding base". The farmers were happy to tell our team members that their base was established in 2004 with the guidance and support of Xianju County Government and Marine Fisheries Bureau, and it is a three-dimensional breeding base in Cai Li of Oujiang River, covering an area of 150 mu. There is a "fish pit" in the middle of the rice field, which is usually used for fish to rest and store when harvesting rice. The colored lithium in Oujiang River can be seen and eaten. Generally, fry will be released when they grow to 5 cm, and will be caught and sold when they grow to about 10 cm. These fish are usually sold to some local farmhouses.

On the morning of July 8th, we visited four old party member in Yao 'an village. In the afternoon, we led the teachers of Taizhou Radio and TV University's Non-Party Intellectuals Association to visit the memorial hall of the former site of Xianju County Committee in China. Later, we took a group photo with the team flag in front of the memorial hall.

On July 9th, at the end of our trip, we visited old party member who lived in Fangshan Village. When we sent condolences to the elderly, the elderly actually bowed deeply to us. While helping the elderly, everyone was moved. We came here with the purpose of learning from old party member. After research, we sent some trivial condolences to the old people. As elders, the old people bowed to us, so that our team members once again felt the high quality of old party member.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, all the work was over, and we boarded the road back to school. We were deeply moved by this activity. Personally, I was really moved by the spirit of old party member. As far as we know, the oldest of the eight old party member is 84 years old, but they still insist on doing farm work every day, playing their last life and contributing their last strength to the construction of our country.

In my opinion, our activities are very successful, because all the members of our team are excellent. During the five-day practice, some people were injured and some were sick, but no one complained about the hard living conditions. In every team activity, everyone has a clear division of labor, helps each other and cooperates together. Everyone learned a lot of practical experience in this activity, and I believe everyone will use it in the next school life or after graduation.
