He took advantage of the "upper class" relationship, served as the captain of Ma Zi Township 12 militia and the general manager of Li Ziwei Regiment, mastered the local armed forces, and together with comrades, grasped the psychology of the masses and small and medium-sized landlords who hated reactionary warlords and mobilized the masses to resist grain and taxes. /kloc-In May of 0/9, in order to compete with the warlords, Liao Yubi organized and established the "North Sichuan People's Army" and quickly recruited more than 400 people. Later, the People's Army of North Sichuan became the revolutionary armed force directly led by the China Production Party, and persisted in guerrilla warfare in Huaying Mountain area for more than 20 years under extremely dangerous and arduous conditions.

1In July, 926, the People's Army of North Sichuan exchanged fire with warlords. Because of the disparity in strength, the team was defeated and dispersed. Liao Yubi left northern Sichuan to teach in Chongqing Labor Middle School and attend the international diplomatic support conference on the tragic killing of Chinese in Britain and Japan. 1927 On March 3 1 day, Liao Yubi led students to attend a mass meeting called by Yang Angong, the head of Chongqing prefectural party committee, to protest against imperialist crimes. He fought tenaciously with the reactionary military police, suffered serious head injuries and returned to Yuechi County for medical treatment. After his recovery, he taught in Luodu Primary School and Yuechi County Girls' Middle School.

Guerrillas were later renamed as "Red Guards in North Sichuan", and mobilized the masses in Huaying Mountain and Ma Zi Township for a long time to organize farmers to carry out armed struggle. 1932 in the first half of the year, the guerrillas accepted the "call-up" of the warlord Yang Sen on the condition that they would not be called up in order to obtain supplies and equipment. On June+10/October, 5438, the 1st 1 4th Huncheng Brigade of the Yangsen Department went to Ziyang to participate in the battle between Liu Xiang and Liu. Liao Yubi decided to take advantage of the emptiness behind Yang Sen to hold an armed riot and seize the county seat of Yuechi County. However, due to secrecy, Xia Jiong, the brigade commander of Yuechi County's Yangsen Department, stepped up his defense and sent a regiment of troops to Yujiachang to besiege the Red Guards. Liao Yubi was outnumbered, so he evacuated his team to Wenchang Village. He is still surrounded by pursuit. After tenacious resistance, the ammunition ran out and turned to Taiping field to retreat. Chen was arrested by Luo Runde, commander of the 20th Army. The following year, he was rescued by the Party organization, and the county magistrate Zhang Jinchang was released on bail pending trial. In order to save strength, Liao Yubi divided the team into several parts and dispersed activities.

/kloc-in the autumn of 0/933, the Red Fourth Front Army launched the Camp Canal Campaign, captured the Camp Mountain City in one fell swoop, liberated some villages in Qu County and Peng 'an, and the Red Army vanguard troops arrived at Guang 'an Huaqiao. In order to mobilize the masses to meet the Red Army and cooperate with the Red Army to fight, Liao Yubi led the Red Guards in northern Sichuan and the underground party organizations to act in unison, and posted slogans such as "Down with local tyrants and evil gentry", "Down with feudal warlords", "Welcome to the Red Army, destroy Yang Sen" and "Long live the Red Army of workers and peasants" in Yuechi County, which greatly strengthened the revolutionary prestige. 1in March, 934, in order to fight against the Red Army, Yang Sen still adopted the method of calling for settlement in the rear. The guerrillas were once again "wooed" and changed into a brigade, stationed in Hedong New Street, Guang 'an County. In April, Yang Sen's nephew prepared to forcibly recruit guerrillas. In order to avoid the pursuit of Yang Sen's department, Liao Yubi led a team to retreat to Daishi, Lushi and Yanghe areas under Huaying Mountain. The reactionary army sent detective teams to Huaying Mountain for reconnaissance many times, but all in vain. In June+10, 5438, Liao Yubi led Zhang Yi, Xiong Dachong and others to capture the comprador tycoon Zhang alive in Luohongdu, Yongxing Township (now Yongxing Town, Huaying City), and confiscated a lot of property such as silver dollars, currency, gold and silver jewelry and soft cloth from his home for revolutionary struggle.

On the evening of February 2 1, 1935, Liao Yubi was trapped by Tingrui, the elite coach of Yuechi County, in Yanglianguang Teahouse in Li Ziwei (now Zhonghe Town, Yuechi County) and brought back to Yuechi County, where he was tortured and forced to yield. Liao Yubi said firmly, "I must go back unless the river flows backwards." On February 23rd, Liao Yubi was killed in Jiaochangba outside the south gate of Yuechi County.
