Dazhou Senior High School, referred to as "Big High School", is located in Chaishi Street, Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province.

It is the best civilized unit in Dazhou, Sichuan school spirit demonstration school, Sichuan experimental teaching demonstration school, Sichuan modern educational technology demonstration school, Sichuan sunshine sports demonstration school, Sichuan second-class demonstration ordinary high school, national advanced sports traditional project school and national youth science popularization innovation demonstration school.

Dazhou Senior Middle School was founded in 1903, which is the first school in China to abolish private schools and open new schools. During the 46-year historical period from 1903 to 1949 before the founding of new China, universities and senior high schools have always been the only highest institutions of learning in northeast Sichuan. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it has been a key school at the prefecture and city level, and is known as the "Eight-Music Tsinghua".

The senior high school is located in the center of Dazhou, with four campuses: Chaishi Street Headquarters, Fengling, Laifeng and Yongfeng (jiangwan city Campus of Beiwai will be partially put into use in 2020). The headquarters covers an area of 105 mu, with a school building area of 5 1 142㎡. There are 55 high school classes and 46 junior high school classes with more than 7,000 students.

There are more than 300 faculty members, including 280 full-time teachers, 68 senior middle school teachers and 1-level middle school teachers 12. In July 2020, it was recognized as 20 19 National Youth Campus Tennis School by the Ministry of Education.
