In order to prepare for spring plowing in 2011, the agricultural machinery authorities in Xinjiang have made arrangements in advance and actively mobilized and guided cadres and workers at all levels to fully devote themselves to the maintenance of locomotives and agricultural machinery. During the maintenance work, we will comprehensively restore and improve the performance and technical status of agricultural machinery and tools required for spring plowing and spring sowing in agricultural production, so that they can reach a perfect state ready for plowing and sowing, thereby ensuring that agricultural machinery can achieve timely, high-quality, and high-quality performance in field operations. Five standards of high efficiency, low consumption and safety; according to incomplete statistics, so far, Xinjiang has completed the maintenance of 320,000 tractors and 500,000 agricultural machinery.

In response to the "Agricultural Machinery Science and Technology Serving Grassroots" activities launched by the Autonomous Region Agricultural Machinery Bureau and the Autonomous Region Agricultural Machinery Society across Xinjiang, the grassroots agricultural machinery departments sent professional and technical personnel to go from house to house to the front line of spring plowing and spring sowing production. and agricultural machinery households, providing free technical services to farmers and herdsmen. So far, the total number of technical personnel invested in Xinjiang has reached 26,569.

Due to the influence of cold air such as cold currents, spring plowing and spring sowing in Xinjiang are generally about 7 to 15 days later than in previous years. Spring plowing and spring sowing by agricultural machinery in southern Xinjiang have already begun, while some areas in northern Xinjiang have just started; statistics show that, As of now, Xinjiang's planned mechanized farming area is 23.63 million acres, and the actual mechanized sowing area is 1.28 million acres. The planned mechanized sowing area is 26.98 million acres, and the actual mechanized sowing area is 670,000 acres.
