Fang Benren's former residence

Fang Benren Manor was built in 1926 by Jiangxi Governor Fang Benren. The manor is surrounded by brick cement, 4 meters high, 0.5 meters thick and 750 meters in circumference. The manor covers an area of more than 30 mu. There is a western-style two-story building in the middle, with an artificial pool in front of it, mangosteen behind it, an orchard on the left and a small garden on the right. In order to defend himself, 193 1 year, Fang Benren brought back long and short guns and a lot of ammunition from Jiangxi. Later, more than 20 people were recruited locally to form three classes, and a self-defense group was formally established. Dai Ziyi, a farmer from the same farm, was appointed as the general manager of the group, responsible for the overall safety work.

1949 after the founding of new China, the manor was used by the county forestry research institute, and the anti-Japanese slogans of the New Fourth Army on the manor and the wall were designated as key cultural relics protection units at the county level by the county people's government.
