The former site of the Tangqian Red Army’s Northward Anti-Japanese Advance Team is located in Tangqian Village, Tangqian Township, Liancheng County, dating from 1934.

Introduction: Originally Baojiantang, it was built in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1875-1908). It faces the northeast and southwest, covering an area of ??about 1433 square meters and a construction area of ??642 square meters. It consists of a gatehouse, a patio, a lower hall, an upper hall, and left and right horizontal rooms. The layout is symmetrically arranged. The ground is made of Sanhe soil, and the overall structure is relatively intact. In July 1934, the advance team of the Red Army marching north to fight against Japan passed through Tangqian and lived in Baojiantang. The Red Army slogans such as "Down with imperialism" and "Fight the local tyrants to divide the land" are still intact in the house.

In 2018, the former site of the Tangqian Red Army’s anti-Japanese advance team heading north was announced by the Fujian Provincial People’s Government as the ninth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units.
