Conditions for ethnic minorities to serve as soldiers

The conditions for ethnic minorities to serve as soldiers in our country are the same as those of the Han nationality, and the Military Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Physical Examination Standards for Citizens to be Recruited are applicable.

First, age conditions:

Male citizens who have reached the age of eighteen before December 31st each year shall be enlisted for active service. Those who have not been recruited in that year can still be recruited for active service before the age of 22, and the recruitment age of ordinary college graduates can be relaxed to 24.

According to the needs of the army, female citizens may be recruited for active service in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph. According to the needs of the army and on my own initiative, citizens who have reached the age of1February 3 1 day, but have not reached the age of 17 18 can be enlisted for active service.

Second, the height and weight standard conditions:

(1) Height:

1, male 160cm, female 158cm. Secret service personnel: tank crew 162- 178cm, diver 168- 185cm, submarine and surface ship personnel 162- 182cm, and airborne troops/kloc-0.

2. Conditional soldiers of special forces (including marine corps members), conditional soldiers of troops stationed in Hong Kong and Macao 170cm or more, and members of honor guards of Beijing Garrison 180cm or more. The height of young recruits with excellent physical conditions can be relaxed to 165cm by the Central Guard Corps and the Public Security Guard.

(2) Weight: Male: not more than 30% of the standard weight and not less than 15% of the standard weight.

Female: Not more than 20% of the standard weight and not less than 25% of the standard weight.

Standard weight = (height-1 10)kg.

Third, the vision standard:

The naked eye vision of college students is not less than 4.6 in the right eye and not less than 4.5 in the left eye. After more than half a year of excimer surgery, the visual acuity of both eyes reached above 4.8 without complications, and the fundus examination was normal and qualified.

Tank crew, submarine and surface ship personnel: the naked eye vision of each eye is not less than 4.8; Divers, airborne troops, waitresses of special plane service team, soldiers of Central Guard Corps with conditions, soldiers of public security forces with conditions, soldiers of special forces with conditions (including Marine Corps), members of honor guard of Beijing Garrison: the naked eye vision of each eye is not less than 5.0.

Refraction, excimer laser surgery for more than half a year, no complications, visual acuity reached the corresponding standards, qualified. Divers, submarine personnel, space soldiers, soldiers with conditions in special forces (including the Marine Corps) are not qualified for excimer laser surgery or other surgical treatments.

Fourth, education:

Applicants (male soldiers): young people (including college students) who graduated from high schools (including technical secondary schools, vocational high schools and technical schools) and above, aged 17 to 22 years old; ? College degree or above, college graduates aged 17 to 24; ? Young people with junior high school education, aged 18 to 20 years old.

The applicants (female soldiers) are: ordinary high school graduates (including freshmen), ordinary full-time college students and recent graduates, aged 17 to 22 years old.

V. Physical and political conditions:

The political examination should meet the specified requirements, and the physical condition should meet the "Physical Examination Standards for Candidates".

Provisions on political review of conscription

Article 8 Citizens under any of the following circumstances shall not be enlisted for active service.

(1) Spreading politically incorrect remarks, and writing, editing, publishing or publishing politically incorrect articles or works.

(2) Having been subjected to criminal punishment, reeducation through labor, asylum education or administrative detention;

(3) Being under investigation for being suspected of violating discipline and law, or being investigated, prosecuted or tried;

(4) Being expelled from public office, ordered to resign, expelled from school, expelled from the Party, kept on probation, or expelled from the Party for serious mistakes;

(5) Tattoos showing signs of underworld organizations or criminal gangs, which are detrimental to the national image and social morality;

(6) Having close ties with people with complex political backgrounds at home and abroad and being politically suspicious;

(seven) participated in cult organizations or activities, participated in harmful martial arts organizations or actively participated in activities;

Major family members, immediate family members, major social relations members or other relatives who have great influence on themselves are backbone members of cults or harmful martial arts organizations;

(eight) I or major family members, immediate family members to participate in ethnic separatism, violence, terror, religious extremism and other illegal organizations, criminal gangs or activities with the nature of the underworld;

(9) The main family members, lineal relatives, members with major social relations or other relatives who have a great influence on me have been subjected to criminal punishment, expelled from the Party, expelled from public office or have serious illegal problems that have not yet been ascertained, and I have sheltered or retaliated;

(ten) the main family members have criminal acts that endanger national security or serious political problems, and I can't draw a clear line;

(eleven) other circumstances that do not meet the political conditions for enlistment for active service.
