When is China Water Week?

China Water Week is March 22 and March 22-28.

March 22, 2022 is the 30th "World Water Day", and March 22-28 is the 35th "China Water Week". The United Nations has determined that the theme of "World Water Day" in 2022 is "Cherish groundwater and cherish hidden resources." The theme of my country's "World Water Day" and "China Water Week" activities in commemoration of 2022 is "Promoting comprehensive management of groundwater overexploitation and reviving the ecological environment of rivers and lakes."

The slogans for the 2022 "World Water Day" and "China Water Week":

1. Deeply implement the national water conservation action.

2. Establish and improve water-saving system policies and enhance the ability to intensively conserve and utilize water resources.

3. Establish a rigid water resource restriction system and strengthen dual control of total water consumption and intensity.

4. Fight hard to achieve deep water conservation and water control in the Yellow River Basin.

5. Actively practice citizens’ behavioral norms for water conservation.
