Theme of 2023 Legal Publicity Day

The theme of the 2023 National "Constitution Publicity Week" is "Vigorously Promote the Spirit of the Constitution and Build a Socialist Rule of Law Culture."

This year’s focus is on socialist thought with Chinese characteristics for a new era, especially rule of law and cultural thought, as well as the Constitution and socialist rule of law culture, as well as the Party’s achievements in comprehensively governing the country according to law. In this regard, this year’s key event arrangements include: the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress will take the lead in organizing activities related to the 10th National Constitution Day; the National Legal Popularization Office will release a series of lecture videos on the rule of law.

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice will hold the opening ceremony of the National Legal Education Practice Demonstration Base for Young Students in Beijing; the Ministry of Justice will support the Ministry of Education in organizing the "Morning Reading of the Constitution" activity of the National Constitution Day education system, and Sing the song "The Constitution Grows with Us" to organize constitutional and legal education themed activities for young students.

In addition, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Justice and the National Legal Popularization Office will hold a special exhibition and series of lectures on socialist rule of law culture at the National Library; the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Justice will hold a special exhibition on socialist rule of law culture in Guli Town, Changshu City, Jiangsu Province Kangbo Village holds a home event of "Constitution into Rural Areas"; the Ministry of Justice and the National Legal Popularization Office will hold an exchange meeting in Hebei Province for pilot areas to play the role of "legally aware people".

Through these activities, we will further strengthen the publicity of the rule of law, the Constitution and the socialist rule of law culture, promote the comprehensive rule of law, improve the rule of law awareness of young students, and promote the popularization and dissemination of the rule of law culture.
