Zheng Xiaoxu. Zheng Xiaoxu (1860-1938) was a modern Chinese political figure, poet and calligrapher. A native of Minhou, Fujian Province. In 1882, the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, he was elected. He served successively as Minister of Border Defense of Guangxi, Inspector of Anhui and Guangdong, and Chief Envoy of Hunan.

He was good at regular script and learned from Ouyang Xun and Su Shi, and he benefited from the Northern Wei Dynasty stele. The work is vigorous and simple.
