Difference between Youth League Committee and Student Union in Senior High School

The difference between the Youth League Committee and the Student Union in senior high school: they are two different organizations. The former is one of the organizations of the Communist Youth League in China, and the latter is a member organization of the All-China Students' Federation in colleges and universities (hereinafter referred to as the Students' Federation), which is the students' own mass organization.

1, Youth League Committee

China * * * Youth League Committee is one of the organizations of the Communist Youth League in China.

Membership requirements:

1. Young people in China who are over 14 years old but under 28 years old can apply to join the Youth League of China * * * if they recognize the League's articles of association, are willing to join an organization of the League and work actively in it, implement the League's resolutions and pay the tour fee on time.

Members who have reached the age of 28 and have not held positions in the group should go through the formalities of withdrawing from the group.

Party member, who joined the Party in * * *, still retains his membership. If they are over 28 years old, if they don't hold positions in the group, they will no longer retain their membership.

II. Members must fulfill the following obligations:

(a) study hard Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, learn the basic knowledge of the League, learn scientific, cultural and professional knowledge, and constantly improve the ability to serve the people.

(two) to publicize and implement the party's basic line, principles and policies, actively participate in reform, opening up and socialist modernization, and strive to complete the tasks assigned by the League organization, and play an exemplary role in study, labor, work and other social activities.

(3) Consciously abide by the national laws and the Communist Youth League discipline, implement the resolutions of the Communist Youth League, carry forward the new socialist fashion, advocate socialist morality, safeguard the interests of the country and the people, stand up and fight bravely to protect state property and people's safety.

(four) to receive national defense education, enhance national defense awareness, and actively fulfill the obligation to defend the motherland.

(5) Learn from the people with an open mind, help the young people make progress with enthusiasm, and reflect their opinions and demands in time.

(six) to carry out criticism and self-criticism, the courage to correct shortcomings and mistakes, and consciously safeguard unity.

Members enjoy the following rights

(a) to participate in the relevant meetings of the League and various activities organized by the League, and to accept the education and training organized by the League.

(2) Having the right to vote, to be elected and to be elected in this group.

(three) to participate in the meetings of the group and the discussion on the work of the group and the issues of concern to the youth in the newspapers and periodicals, to make suggestions on the work of the group, and to supervise and criticize the leading organs and staff of the group.

(four) if you have different opinions on the resolutions of the Communist Youth League, you can keep them on the premise of resolutely implementing them, and you can put them forward to the higher-level organizations of the Communist Youth League.

(five) to participate in the meeting to discuss the punishment of their own, and can defend themselves, other members can testify and defend for them.

(6) Making demands, appeals and accusations to any level of organizations or even to the Central Committee, and asking relevant organizations to give responsible answers.

Organizations and individuals at any level have no right to deprive members of their rights.

Four, receiving members must strictly fulfill the following procedures:

(a) young people applying for membership should be introduced by two members.

(two) the introducer shall be responsible for explaining the articles of association to the introduced person and explaining the thoughts, performances and experiences of the introduced person to the league organization.

(3) Young people who are required to join the League should apply to the branch committee, fill in the volunteer form, and become members only after discussion and approval by the branch meeting and the superior committee. Young people who have been approved to join the League will be qualified as League members from the date of adoption of the branch meeting.

New members must be sworn in under the league flag. The oath is as follows: I voluntarily join the China * * * Production Youth League, resolutely support the leadership of the China * * * Production Party, abide by the League's articles of association, carry out the League's resolutions, fulfill the League's obligations, strictly observe the League's discipline, study hard, work actively, bear hardships first, enjoy later, and strive for the cause of * * *.

Six, for the exemplary performance of the obligations of members, members who have made remarkable achievements in socialist modernization and the cause of defending the motherland, the league organization should be rewarded. Awards are divided into: notification and commendation, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, provincial, municipal (prefectural), county-level youth league committees and grassroots youth league committees awarded the title of outstanding league members.

Seven, for members who do not implement the resolutions of the League and violate the League's articles of association, the League organization should criticize and help in the spirit of learning from mistakes and saving lives. If the circumstances are serious, disciplinary action shall be taken.

Punishment is divided into: warning, serious warning, revocation of duties in the league, detention for observation, and expulsion from the league.

The probation period is half a year or one year. Members have no right to vote, stand for election and vote in the league, and may not be used as referees for young people to join the league. If the probation period expires and the mistakes are corrected, the above rights of its members shall be restored in time; Those who insist on correcting their mistakes will be expelled from the league.

Eight, the punishment of members, must be discussed and approved by the branch meeting, reported to the higher committee for approval.

The punishment of expelling a league member from the Party membership must be approved by the grass-roots committee of the League authorized by the county committee or the committee above the county level.

Nine, the league organization to make disciplinary decisions on members, must be careful and realistic. When the general meeting of members of the branch discusses and decides the punishment to members, except in special circumstances, they should absorb themselves and listen to their opinions carefully. If I refuse to accept it, I can lodge a complaint, and the relevant league organizations must be responsible for handling it or transmitting it quickly, and shall not withhold it.

Ten, members have the freedom to quit the group. If members want to leave the League, they should submit a written report to the branch committee, which will decide to remove them and report them to the superior committee for the record.

For six consecutive months, members who do not pay the tour fee, participate in the organization and life of the group, or do not do the work assigned by the group organization for six consecutive months without justifiable reasons are deemed to have left the group on their own. If a member leaves the League voluntarily, the general meeting of the branch will decide to remove his name and report it to the superior committee for approval.

2. Student Union

Student Committee, student union, also known as "student union" or "student Committee" In Chinese mainland, the term student union generally refers to the member organizations of the All-China Federation of Students (hereinafter referred to as the National Federation of Students) in colleges and universities. Chapter 4 of the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Students describes "student union" and "student union members" as "student union and graduate student union are students' own mass organizations. All students in China, regardless of nationality, gender and religious beliefs, can be members of the Student Union and the Graduate Association ". With the guidance and help of the leaders of the school party organizations and youth league organizations, students in institutions of higher learning and senior middle schools will work independently in accordance with laws, school rules and regulations and their respective articles of association.
