Scenic spots and landscapes of Chengdu People's Park

Jinshui River is located in the lotus pond at the foot of Xishan Mountain in People's Park. It passes through the main entrance along the east gate, with a total length of 355 meters and a width of 6 meters. It was transformed from the original Jinhe River. 1999 started and was completed in August 2000. The bottom of the river is paved with smooth pebbles, and the stream is made of pebbles of different sizes. The main section is pebble gentle slope entering water, and pebble revetment is also adopted. Peach trees, willows, kudzu roots, begonia, Chimonanthus praecox, Ligustrum lucidum, Ligustrum lucidum and Berberis rubrum are planted along the coast.

Jinshui River passes through the park about 500 meters, and there are two bridges on it. 19 19 is at the present main entrance (which was a side entrance at that time). On the left south bank, a canal is dug to lead the Jinhe River into the garden, bypassing heming Teahouse, passing through Lotus Pavilion (cash fish pond) and flowing eastward into the half bridge. 1924, the Jinhe River diverges from Xiaonan Street, passes through Children's Paradise, Lotus Pond, Zoo and East Rockery, and turns north to meet at Banbian Bridge. Xinhai Square is located in Xinhai Lu Bao Memorial Square in the center of People's Park, with an area of 3,000 square meters, a building of 1 100 square meters and a stage of 130 square meters. Metropolitan (Chengdu) Entertainment Co., Ltd., originally affiliated to Hong Kong Jinsheng Company, demolished the open-air dance floor of 1993 and built UA Metropolitan Entertainment Plaza. Due to the disharmony with the surrounding environment, it was purchased by the government in 2004 to commemorate the 19 1 1 year Sichuan Road Protection Movement and build Xinhai Square. The whole project started in February 2004 and was completed and opened in May 2004 1. Xinhai Square, in combination with the needs of the park environment, produced a ground relief and a monument bas-relief reflecting the history of the revolutionary struggle to protect the road in Xinhai, Sichuan.

Jin Yu Dao he Yong ju tea house

Goldfish Island is located between heming Teahouse and the artificial rockery waterfall in the east. In an artificial lake, it is connected with heming Teahouse by an arch bridge. In 2004, the park developed and utilized Goldfish Island and restored the old teahouse with a long history. Combined with the characteristics of the old teahouse enjoying tea and fish in goldfish island, it has become a cultural place for citizens to enjoy the cool, entertainment, fish appreciation, fishing, sightseeing and tea tasting, and reproduces the landscape of goldfish island. There are more than 10 varieties of ornamental goldfish and hundreds of rare goldfish on the island.

The early history of Yongju Teahouse is very close to the famous Diaohuayuan Restaurant (near today's Weiziting). A semi-colonial and semi-feudal society can be said to be semi-open and semi-closed in terms of social atmosphere. In 2002, the municipal government planned and reconstructed the old city of Chengdu. In 2004, the buildings in the old city, such as Chengdu Library and Banbianqiao Street near the east gate of the former People's Park, were demolished and returned to the People's Park for management as green spaces. The green area of the park has expanded again.

The newly-built Shanshui Waterfall Square and Dongdaemun are located on the east side of the People's Park in Ancestral Hall Street, adjacent to Banbianqiao Street, with an area of 10600 square meters, including 9000 square meters of greening and 1600 square meters of square. The whole renovation project started in March 2004 and was completed and opened in February 2004. The waterfall is 43 meters wide and 12 meters high, with about 3000 tons of stone, which is a large artificial rockery landscape.

Lancaoyuan

After the founding of New China, in 1963, President Zhu De presented five varieties of orchids from Fujian and Zhejiang with 10 pots. Up to now, there are * * species 18 orchids in the park, and the number of pots exceeds 1200. Rare varieties in the province 1.965- 1.974, 1.4 were acquired year by year, and managed by florist Chen Songru, with no loss.

1986, there is an orchid garden on the left side of the office, covering an area of 880 square meters. The front of the garden is a gray wall with ceramic tiles, and a leaky window with orchid patterns is embedded in the wall. After entering the circular arch, it is a square pavilion made of cement, surrounded by a pool, and there are orchid stands in the west and south, including 28 varieties of Clivia and Chlorophytum, and more than 900 pots of orchids. The People's Park bonsai garden is located in Shaocheng Garden south of the central part of the park, covering an area of 2,600 square meters. Equipped with a rest corridor and a lotus pond. Rockery is piled up on the bank of the pond, equipped with Ophiopogon japonicus and rhododendron, and aquatic plants such as water lily, lotus flower, calla lily, umbrella grass and calamus are planted in the pond. The park has lush trees, swaying bamboo forests, dense shade and quiet environment. There are more than 200 bonsai pots on display all the year round, including more than 20 landscape bonsai pots, and more than 80 stump bonsai pots/kloc-0. There are mainly ancient trees and pile heads such as elm, ginkgo, Podocarpus, Osmunda japonica, golden marbles and begonia.

The Luohansong ancient pile bonsai in the park won the special prize of China bonsai appraisal exhibition, which is the treasure of Chengdu People's Palace Garden.

Dongjieshan

The East Rockery was built in the second year of the Republic of China (Park 19 18). At that time, the excavated soil was piled up, a grass pavilion and a wooden bridge were built, and then they were constantly renovated. 1965 during the first phase of the civil air defense project, the river under the rockery was changed into an air-raid shelter, and the scenic spots such as Meilin, Yulan Forest, Sakura Forest and Li Taolin in front of the rockery and the Yue Ming Bridge were all changed into artificial lakes. The mud dug in the lake continues to pile mountains, and Li Zhongyu is responsible for piling rockeries on the front.

1978, when Binjiang Park was built, it took more than a month to transport the accumulated waste soil and continue to pile mountains and tidy up the roads on the mountains, and the expenses were borne by the greening engineering team. At this point, the entire East Rockery is130m long, 48m wide and 30m high. 1965 During the first phase of the civil air defense project, Meilin, Yulan Forest, Sakura Forest and Li Taolin were cancelled and excavated into artificial lakes. The whole lake is slightly gourd-shaped, covering an area of about 20 mu. The quaint and elegant Goldfish Island and the permanent teahouse are located in the lake. Willow, hibiscus, begonia and peach blossom are planted along the coast.

East rockery and artificial lake are also places for Rongcheng citizens to relax in summer, go boating on holidays and enjoy the city scenery. "Pillow Tea Garden" is one of the old tea gardens with a long history in People's Park, which is as famous as heming Teahouse. The pillow teahouse was founded in the early years of the Republic of China. Its original site is Haitang Garden on the west side of Xiqiao at the entrance of People's Park. The pillow teahouse covers an area of about 300 square meters, including buildings, with a usable area of 500 square meters.

The teahouse is now located in Xishan, People's Park, which is integrated with the green scenery of Xishan and the small peach blossom forest. Before liberation, most of them were places where scholars and students met. Reconstruction resumed in June 5438+October 2003 10, and was completed and opened in May 2003. Therefore, the pillow flow tea garden is located on the rockery on the west side of the memorial to the fallen soldiers in Xinhaibao Road, with an area of 3 120 square meters and a building of 267 square meters. The tea garden has lush trees, flowing springs, birds and flowers, quiet environment, towering rocks and terraced fields. It not only has heavy historical characteristics, but also is a leisure resort in the city center. Mr Wei Minglun, a famous writer, personally laid a pillow for the tea garden.

Pillow Tea Garden is a multifunctional modern urban ecological old tea garden integrating tea art, Chinese food, snacks and chess.
