About the content of the Arbor Day handwritten newspaper
The origin of Arbor Day:
China’s Arbor Day was initiated and established in 1915 by Ling Daoyang, Han An, Pei Yili and other forest scientists, and was initially set to fall on the Qingming Festival every year. In 1928, the Nationalist Government changed Arbor Day to March 12 to commemorate the third anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's death. In 1979, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, at the suggestion of Deng Xiaoping, the Sixth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress decided to designate March 12 every year as China's Arbor Day.
Arbor Day slogan:
Vigorously plant trees and prohibit indiscriminate logging.
One more green leaf, one more color, and one more warmth.
Cherish green and cherish our unique home.
Trees are planted one after another, and there is a little shade of greenery.
