For buildings with a height below 15m, the length of the entrance and exit passage should not be less than 3m; For buildings with a height of 15-30m, the length of the entrance and exit passages should not be less than 4m, and for buildings with a height exceeding 30m, the length of the entrance and exit passages should not be less than 5m.

The length of the channel is calculated from the outside of the scaffold.

5.2 The foundation of the upright post must be hardened, and no ground settlement shall occur during the service life of the channel. Poles must be provided with sweeping poles and supports along the channel direction.

5.3 The vertical distance of the vertical pole of the conventional safe passage shall not exceed 1200mm, the cantilever size of the protective shed shall be 300~500mm, and the interlayer spacing of the double-layer protective shed shall be 500~600mm.

5.4 For the safe passage with a width of more than 3.5m or a height of more than 4m, the spacing between vertical poles should be encrypted or double vertical poles, section steel and scaffolding pipe lattice columns should be adopted, and the longitudinal cross bars should be made of section steel or load-bearing scaffolding should be erected.

5.5 One side of the safe passage shall be provided with an isolation railing to guide pedestrians through the safe passage, and it shall be closed with a federated eye network if necessary.
