Why do teachers and students in remote farming and pastoral areas in Tibet receive winter clothes?

On August 19, Tibet Alpine Culture Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Alpine Foundation) donated winter clothes to remote mountainous areas in Tibet. At the donation ceremony, Gaoshan Foundation donated winter down jackets to more than 350 teachers and students in Duwa Township, Bianba County, Changdu City, Tibet, and prepared winter down jackets for teachers and students in remote mountainous areas in advance.

It is reported that Duwa Township, Bianba County, Changdu City is located in the northeast of Xizang Autonomous Region, belonging to a remote farming and pastoral area with cold climate and lack of resources. In recent years, people in Xizang Publishing House, as a resident unit, has helped Duwa Township improve people's livelihood, education and infrastructure construction.

Li Haiping, editor-in-chief of people in Xizang Publishing House, said that due to the long-term impact of the cold climate such as snowfall, traffic in Duwa Township is blocked, access is difficult, and the school education infrastructure is relatively backward. At present,/kloc-there are 339 students and preschool children under 0/4 years old. The healthy growth of children needs more care and support from the society.

Wen Li, chairman of the Tibet Alpine Culture Development Foundation, said that after learning about the situation in Duwa Township, the Foundation purchased more than 350 thick down jackets and donated them to teachers and students in Duwa Township, hoping to send them a love and warmth in the coming winter.
