In order to better protect the safety of people's lives and property and promote the prevention and control of air pollution, Shanxi has issued the strictest "fire ban" in the current situation where there are many electronic fireworks and other celebration products, including weddings, funerals, opening celebrations and other activities. .

Currently, all cities and counties (cities, districts) in Shanxi Province have issued policies banning fireworks and firecrackers in urban built-up areas, and 35 county-level governments have implemented county-wide bans. Since 2018, the number of fireworks and firecrackers operating companies in Shanxi has dropped from 5,914 to the current 1,446, and there are 8 road dangerous goods transportation companies in the province that can transport fireworks and firecrackers.

Before October 1 this year, the original issuing authority will dispose of the issued administrative licenses for the production, operation, and transportation of fireworks and firecrackers in accordance with the law. Public security, emergency management, market supervision and other departments will strengthen supervision and severely crack down on illegal production and sales, storage and transportation, and setting off fireworks and firecrackers.

The notice pointed out that due to major holidays, important activities and other reasons, if it is really necessary to hold fireworks parties and other large-scale professional fireworks display activities, with the consent of the people's government at or above the county level, the public security organs will handle the road transportation and display After the license is issued, the fireworks will be discharged by professional discharge units at the designated time and place, and the public security organs will supervise the discharge.
