What is party building?

At present, the Party Central Committee's strengthening of the Party's social work is closely related to China's social transformation. Since the reform and opening up, party member has gradually separated from the party organization system under the unit system, which has also brought about problems of party building in the social field. In 1980s and 1990s, China focused on the reform in the economic field, but did not pay enough attention to it. 2/kloc-at the beginning of the 20th century, with the development of China's market economy, more and more party member worked in various new economic organizations and new social organizations, and party building in the social field was put on the agenda. In 2003, Shanghai took the lead in carrying out the innovation pilot of grass-roots party building in the social field, and summarized the pilot experience on the eve of the 17th National Congress, forming a series of theoretical achievements. Since then, the central government has emphasized this work in a series of meeting resolutions, and many cities across the country have also begun to build the party's social work organization system and talent team. When a community or a building establishes a party organization, it is called a building branch.
