One-way traffic during the cherry blossom festival in Jiefangmen, Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area, Nanjing

Nanjing Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area has recently announced a series of tourism measures, among which one-way traffic control measures will be taken during the cherry blossom season from March to early April in 2020, which will help ease traffic pressure and avoid crowds. Citizens and tourists who want to travel must pay special attention.

On March 16, 2020, I learned from Nanjing Xuanwu Lake Management Office that during the Cherry Blossom Festival from March 18 to April 5, the Jiefangmen in Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area will pass through one way, reminding everyone that it is necessary to plan the garden route in advance to enjoy cherry blossoms.

According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control in COVID-19 and the requirements of public order control, during the Cherry Blossom Festival from March 18 to April 5, the Jiefang Gate in Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area is allowed to pass in one direction (only in and out).

Specific requirements are as follows

1.From March 2 1, Jiefangmen is one-way traffic on weekends;

From February to March 18, according to the passenger flow situation of Jimingsi Road, temporary control will be implemented from Monday to Friday, and the door will be liberated in one direction;

3. When Jiefangmen passes in one direction, citizens and tourists in Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area will not be able to leave the park through Jiefangmen, but can leave the park through other entrances and exits such as Xuanwu Gate and Taipingmen.

The scenic spot issued a reminder, asking the general public and tourists in Nanjing to plan the garden in advance and arrange the garden route reasonably.
