How to punish traffic police for vehicle modification

If a vehicle is modified, the traffic police may order it to be restored to its original state and impose a warning or a fine of not more than 500 yuan. Article 56 of the Regulations on Motor Vehicle Registration shall be given a warning or fined not more than 200 yuan by the traffic administrative department of the public security organ under any of the following circumstances: (1) The enlarged number plate is not sprayed on the body or rear of the carriage of heavy and medium-sized trucks and their trailers in accordance with the regulations or the enlarged number plate is unclear; (two) motor vehicle spraying, sticking logo or body advertising, affecting safe driving; (five) change the color of the car body, replace the engine, car body or frame, and fail to go through the registration of change within the time limit stipulated in Article 10 of these Provisions; (seven) the owner of the motor vehicle has gone through the registration of change and transfer, and after the motor vehicle file is transferred out of the vehicle management office, he fails to apply for the transfer of the motor vehicle into the vehicle management office within the time limit stipulated in Article 13 of these Provisions.
