Indicative signs are signs that put forward matters that should be paid attention to based on the characteristics of the goods and are expressed with eye-catching graphics or text on the outer packaging of the goods.

For example, if the outer packaging of fragile goods is marked with "Handle with Care", and the outer packaging of goods that are prone to deterioration after being affected by moisture is marked with "Prevent Moisture" and is accompanied by graphic instructions, it is indicative. Signs are called safety signs or attention signs. In order to unify the graphics and text of transportation and packaging instructions in various countries, some international organizations, such as the International Organization for Standardization and the International Air Transport Association, have formulated packaging, storage and transportation instruction signs respectively, and recommended that member states adopt them.
