Changing electricity is the technology of changing batteries, that is, replacing the power battery with more power on the electric car. How do you say this operation? Similar to the previous operation of the mobile phone without electricity, directly turn off the back cover and replace it with a fully charged battery. The power battery of electric vehicle is bigger and heavier, which requires professional power exchange equipment, and is usually completed in a professional power exchange station. The whole process takes 3 to 5 minutes.

At present, most electric vehicles are charged by charging. There are two charging modes: fast charging and slow charging. In the case of slow charging, it takes 6 to 10 hour for an electric car to be fully charged, while it takes 1 to10.5 hour for 85% of the power to be fully charged at fast charging, and it only takes 40 minutes for super fast charging. However, the charging time of electric vehicles is still longer than the refueling time, which makes electric vehicles a bit backward and out of touch in this fast-paced society. Therefore, the fast and convenient power exchange mode has entered the public's field of vision.

Since the emergence of electric vehicles, the charging and changing modes of electric vehicles have experienced a long struggle. The power exchange model was first proposed by Israeli electric vehicle manufacturer Better Place in 2007. This company cooperated with Renault Nissan to build a considerable electric vehicle charging station system. Car users drive their cars to a better place to change power stations. Through the operation of the mechanical arm, they can complete the power change in less than three minutes, and the process is automated.

However, Better Place stopped operating on 20 13. At the beginning of 13, Tesla built a power exchange station and tried to test the power exchange mode, but the cost was high and the service experience was poor. Tesla's power exchange mode was unsuccessful.

In 2006, China State Grid organized the research and development and practice of charging and replacing facilities for electric vehicles, and determined the operation mode as charging as the main body, replacing electricity as the auxiliary, centralized charging and unified distribution.

NIO POWER power station built by Weilai Automobile is specially built for private car users, and it is also the first power exchange service system for private car users in the world.
