Legal Analysis: People's Republic of China (PRC) Community Correction Law is a law formulated according to the Constitution to promote and standardize community correction, ensure the correct execution of criminal judgments, criminal rulings and decisions on temporary execution outside prison, improve the quality of education correction, promote the smooth integration of community correction objects into society, and prevent and reduce crimes.

Legal basis: People's Republic of China (PRC) Community Correction Law.

Article 1 In order to promote and standardize community corrections, ensure the correct execution of criminal judgments, criminal rulings and decisions on temporary execution outside prison, improve the quality of education corrections, promote the smooth integration of community correction objects into society, and prevent and reduce crimes, this Law is formulated in accordance with the Constitution.

Article 2 A criminal sentenced to public surveillance, probation, parole or temporary execution outside prison shall undergo community correction according to law.

This Law shall apply to activities such as supervision and management, education and assistance of community correction objects.

Article 3 The community correction work shall adhere to the combination of supervision and management with educational assistance, and the combination of specialized institutions and social forces, and adopt classified management and personalized correction to eliminate the factors that may lead to the re-offending of community correction objects and help them become law-abiding citizens.

Article 4 The object of community correction shall accept community correction according to law and accept supervision and management.

Community correction should be carried out according to law, and human rights should be respected and guaranteed. The personal rights, property rights and other rights enjoyed by community correction objects according to law are inviolable, and they are not discriminated against in employment, schooling and social security.

Article 5 The state supports community correction institutions to improve the level of informatization and use modern information technology to carry out supervision, management, education and assistance. Relevant departments of community correction work shall share information according to law.
