Introduction to Suzhou Higher Preschool Normal School

Suzhou Preschool Teachers College (now renamed Suzhou Preschool Teachers College (in preparation)) was founded in 1976. It is a five-year normal school that trains kindergarten teachers with college degrees. The school is located at No. 2 Huayuan Road, Xiangcheng District, and has three affiliated kindergartens: Huahua Kindergarten, Education Kindergarten and Guxiangyuan Kindergarten. There are more than 160 faculty members and nearly 1,600 students. The school was once located in Huqiu Scenic Area, "the first scenic spot in Wuzhong". The campus was first built during the Qianlong period and was named Taying Garden. It was successively rebuilt into Wen Zhaozhi (the grandson of Wen Zhengming) villa, Bai Juyi Ancestral Hall, and Li Hongzhang Ancestral Hall. As a cultural relic protection unit in Suzhou, the campus has a garden charm. Elegant buildings, ancient and famous trees, small bridges and flowing water, rockery pavilions, melodious piano sounds, and graceful dances form a unique scenery. It can be called a "real mountain and true water garden" Lieutenant Colonel, a school with rockery and water in the middle garden." The new campus is located on Huayuan Road, Xiangcheng District, and the campus is quite modern.
