Where is Anshun, Guizhou?

Anshun, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province, is located in the central and western Guizhou, 90 kilometers away from Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. With a total area of 9,267 square kilometers, it is located in the watershed of Wujiang River Basin in the Yangtze River system and Beipanjiang River Basin in the Pearl River system, and is a typical karst landform concentration area in the world. At the end of 20021,the resident population of Anshun was 2,458,800.

Anshun is known as the hometown of waterfalls in China, the hometown of Tunpu culture, the hometown of batik and the capital of Xixiu. It is an excellent tourist city in China, a national first-class tourist open city, the only reform experimental zone in China to "deepen reform, promote the prosperity of various economic sectors and accelerate development", a national high-tech industrial base of civil aviation industry, and a provincial-level historical and cultural city in Guizhou. The main component of Gui 'an New District, the eighth national new district approved by the State Council.
