Checun Village, hidden in the mountains, is located in Pomegranate Town, which is the most remote and highest-altitude village in the northwest of Zhangpu County.

In front of and behind the house, under the roadside trees, beekeeping wooden boxes can be seen everywhere. Bees come and go through the jungle, picking flowers to make honey.

The greenery in Checun village is fascinating. Especially those wild pears, persimmons and grapefruit hanging from the treetops, octagonal melons, bergamot and pumpkins hanging from the vines ... there is always a sense of joy in harvesting.

The "Home of the Red Army" with grey tiles and white walls is hung with the deeds of the older generation of revolutionaries such as Tao Zhu, Deng Zihui, Wang Zhanchun and Feng Yifei. There are many objects used by ancestors, such as tables and chairs, marching pots, abacus, hemp fiber, kerosene lamps, wooden pots, broadswords and rifles, which are very memorable.

There is a newly built cemetery for Red Army martyrs behind the village in recent years. It is reported that the Red Third Regiment fought a bloody battle with the enemy here, and more than 4 revolutionary predecessors died heroically and were buried here. In the Red Army Martyrs Cemetery, pay tribute to the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs.

Next to the Red Army Martyrs Cemetery is a "Red Army Road" built along the mountain. Stone-paved steps with lush trees on both sides. Come here, re-take the "Red Army Road" and feel the days when our ancestors fought bloody battles; You can also overlook the green hills and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

There is still a well in Checun village that was used by the Red Army to take water in those days. The villagers affectionately call it "Red Army Well". There is an unknown tree near the village. Everyone calls it "Hongjun Tree".
