Guangxi Construction Engineering Group is responsible for transforming the original production workshop of Guangxi Defu Technology Co., Ltd., a supplier of SAIC-GM-Wuling, into a 2,000-square-meter dust-free workshop. It only took 3 days from SAIC-GM-Wuling to propose the project to the first batch of masks rolling off the production line. After the production line is completed, the daily output of masks will reach 1.7 million, realizing the localization of the entire medical mask industry chain.
BYD said that the government has opened a "green channel" for scarce materials, and its production qualification companies are actively preparing for certification. Its mask project is mainly produced through BYD Baolong 9th Department. This department focuses on the research and development and manufacturing of mobile phones, computers, automotive electronics and other products. It also produces medical devices as an agent and has medical device system certification. BYD is fully capable of producing drawings in 3 days, equipment in 7 days, and products in 10 days. BYD's masks will be mass-produced and shipped around February 17. In terms of production capacity, the daily output of masks will reach 5 million. There is also news that BYD will also produce disinfectant, and the daily output of disinfectant can reach 50,000 bottles.
In order to master the molding, welding, mechanical, electrical and other related technologies and production processes of protective mask production equipment as soon as possible, GAC Group has sent a number of party members and employees to Dongguan for mask production on February 7. Equipment manufacturer Kuaiyuda Company participated in the study to speed up the production of masks with self-made equipment; it also sent technical forces to support mask production in Guangzhou. The supported unit is one of the largest mask production bases in South China, with a current daily production capacity of 1 million pieces. GAC Group's first mask production equipment has begun installation and commissioning on February 11. It is expected to complete the production of 12 pieces of equipment by February 22 and 30 pieces by the end of February. After being put into production, the production capacity can reach 1.8 million pieces per day.
