Experimental facilities of electric power college of North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower

Power and Automation Experimental Center is the teaching experimental base of our college, with a building area of 2,340 square meters and a series of basic laboratories and professional laboratories. The basic laboratory consists of electrician laboratory, electronic technology laboratory and motor laboratory, and is equipped with advanced experimental equipment in China. The specialized laboratory not only meets the teaching experiments of general specialized courses, but also is equipped with experimental facilities with the characteristics of this discipline, including domestic advanced flow visualization and image processing experimental devices, which can be used for visualization and flow analysis of the internal flow field of fluid machinery. There are also experimental devices for hydropower plant testing technology, equipped with various high-precision sensors and measuring instruments, which can be used for on-site testing and research of hydropower plants. Small dynamic simulation test devices have been built and thermal power plant simulation devices are under construction, which can be used for teaching and scientific research as well as professional training. In addition, the process control laboratory and relay protection laboratory used in power plants and automation systems are also equipped with the most advanced test equipment in China.
