After several joint enforcement actions by relevant law enforcement units of the Rencheng District Government, the slaughtering industry in Baotun Village gradually declined, and most of the villagers relied on factory work or business to make a living. However, there are still some villagers who still engage in illegal slaughtering, or specialize in slaughtering sick and dead livestock and poultry in order to make huge profits.

This joint law enforcement operation is aimed at the resurgence of illegal slaughter among some villagers. On the morning of February 14, the joint law enforcement team made final mobilization arrangements at the Tangkou Town Government Square, and quickly rushed to Baotun Village to control all entrances and exits. The law enforcement brigade was divided into several teams, all of which searched carefully door to door to obtain direct evidence of illegal slaughter. During this period, the police discovered and destroyed several illegal slaughtering dens, confiscated hundreds of kilograms of illegal meat, and detained several illegal slaughtering personnel. Through two days of continuous law enforcement operations, nearly a thousand villagers in Baotun Village were not missed, and illegal illegal slaughtering was completely eliminated. Among them, the law enforcement team posted more than 1,000 pieces of information on how to identify dead livestock and poultry at each household, and posted more than 400 notices on food safety inspections in Rencheng District, fully achieving the inspection goal of making it known to every household and making everyone aware of the law.
