Brief introduction of Mexico state

The state of Mexico (Spanish: Estado de México) is one of the thirty-one states in Mexico. It is located in the central part of the country and surrounds the federal district from three directions: north, east and west, that is, the capital of Mexico City. It is adjacent to morelos in the south.

The state of Mexico is located in the middle of the United Mexican States, with a land area of 22,499 square kilometers, governing 125 cities and a population of14.5 million. The state capital is located in toluca. In recent years, it has become the most populous state in Mexico, with an average daily increase of 1000 people. Together with the Federal District of Mexico, the state of Mexico constitutes the second largest urban consumption market in the world, with a population of nearly 23 million.

Toluca is an industrial and commercial city in south-central Mexico and the capital of Mexico State. It is located in the toluca Valley, 64 kilometers east of Mexico City, with an altitude of 2,639 meters. It is one of the highest cities in North America. Toluca was founded in 1530, with a population of about1250,000 (2000). Its industries are mainly textiles, tanning, brewing and food processing, and handicrafts are also very developed.
