Academiosis, commonly known as furuncle, is dermatitis caused by the parasitism of scabies and itch mites. It is characterized by severe itching, eczema and dermatitis, depilation and high contact infectivity.

(1) Pathogenic acaroid mites or scabies are caused by parasitism in or on the skin surface of cattle, and all the development processes of scabies and scabies are carried out in cattle. (2) Epidemic characteristics Calves are young and tender, and are most susceptible to infection. Healthy cattle are mainly infected by touching fences, pens and appliances contaminated by sick cattle or mites, which is highly contagious. The host specificity of sarcoptes scabies is not strong, which can cause mutual infection among people, animals and livestock. This disease often occurs in autumn and winter, when the sunshine is insufficient and the skin surface humidity is high, which is suitable for the development and reproduction of mites. This is very serious in the cold season.

Cattle scabies is a highly contagious skin disease caused by scabies mites, commonly known as scabies. It is a kind of contact dermatosis caused by scabies mites parasitic on the surface or inside of cattle skin. The disease is usually infected in autumn and severe in winter, especially in rainy weather. It spreads most widely in wet barns with obvious symptoms and stubborn treatment. After the onset, not only the fur quality is reduced due to depilation, but also the treatment of cattle infected with scabies should be comprehensively prevented, not only the cattle should be treated, but also the sick cowshed should be strictly disinfected. Only by completely killing the sarcoptes can the persistent infection of sarcoptes be controlled. What medicine should be used to disinfect the infected cowshed?

Firstly, remove the residual dung grass in the cowshed, and rinse the cowshed and dung ditch with clear water. Feces and bedding grass are transported to places far away from cattle farms for pile fermentation or incineration.

Disinfecting drugs are usually disinfected with quicklime, trichlorfon and odorous chemicals. After adding water, quicklime is disinfected into hydrated lime, which has a great killing effect on most bacteria. Dry quicklime powder can be used to disinfect wet barn floors and feces. Quicklime can be made into 10-20% lime milk, which can be used to paint the walls of cowshed. The method of making lime milk is to add 1 kg quicklime into 1 kg water, first to cure, and then add 9 kg water to make 10% lime milk. Lime milk should be prepared before use and should not be stored for a long time.
