Are there any discounts for first-year students on air tickets?

Freshmen have discounts on air tickets, but the details are determined by the airline. Generally, airlines will launch a series of preferential promotions for college freshmen. For example, in an activity launched by China Southern Airlines, freshmen and graduate students can enjoy special one-way air tickets with their 2022 admission notice for junior college or above.

However, there are no official regulations on discounts for first-year students when buying air tickets. Only revolutionary disabled soldiers, children, and infants have discounts on air tickets. The student discounts offered by major airlines are only internal activities.

Currently, my country’s domestic flights calculate fares based on the age of the passengers, and there is no provision for any preferential policies for students; of course, some airlines offer partial discounts when students are on vacation or at the beginning of school. Policies, but few, passengers need to pay more attention to the official announcements of each airline.

Many airlines have specially launched campus products for college freshmen.
