Fireworks and firecrackers policy in Lanzhou in 2023

The reporter learned from Lanzhou Emergency Management Bureau that in order to prevent and control air pollution, protect and improve the atmospheric environment, and prevent unsafe accidents caused by excessive discharge of fireworks and firecrackers, Lanzhou Emergency Management Bureau, Lanzhou Ecological Environment Bureau and Lanzhou Public Security Bureau jointly issued the Notice on the Area and Time of Banning Fireworks and Firecrackers during the Spring Festival of 2023, according to the regulations of the State Council and the Regulations on the Safety Management of Fireworks and Firecrackers in Lanzhou.

The "Notice" clarifies that in 2023, in the non-forbidden areas of Chengguan District, Qilihe District, Xigu District and Anning District, the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month (1.04 in 2023), New Year's Eve (1.08 in 2023) and the first day of the first month (/kloc in 2023)

Fireworks and firecrackers are prohibited in the following areas in the four suburbs:

Chengguan District: Tianshui North Road, Jiayuguan North Road and Yuchikou Road in the east, Baiyin Road, West Railway Station Road and East Railway Station Road in the south, Zhongshan Road in the west, Nanbinhe Road and Henan South Road in the north; East to Yanchang North Road, south to North Binhe East Road and Renmin Road, west to Foci Street, and north to the east-west extension line of Kangtai Hospital in Gansu Province.

Qilihe District: East to Cultural Palace Bridge, south to South Ring Road, west to Shengou Bridge and north to Nanbinhe Road.

Xigu District: east to the intersection of Xigu East Road and Fuli East Road, north to the intersection of Xigu Middle Road and Yumen Street (north-south direction), south to the auxiliary road area of Nanshan Road, west to Le Kang Road, and north to Xigu West Road to Lanzhou Petrochemical Company.

Anning District: east to the junction of Macaogou and Chengguan, south to North Binhe Road, west to Dashagou (including Renshou Mountain Scenic Area) and north to North Ring Road; East to Xianshuigou, south to North Binhe Road, west to Lanzhou-Zhongchuan Intercity Railway, and north to North Ring Road.
