What should I do if the library borrows books beyond the time limit?

If you don't return the book on time, you should contact the manager to return it as soon as possible, and the manager has the obligation to urge the repayment.

1. If the books borrowed by readers are overdue, the borrowing authority (including borrowing, renewal and reservation) will be suspended, and the borrowing function will be automatically resumed after the overdue books are returned.

2. Appointment reminder system "Appointment reminder" means that when a book is reserved after borrowing, the library will send an appointment reminder notice to remind readers to return the book within the specified time.

(1) When making an appointment to borrow a book, the book holder will receive an email "Book Appointment Reminder Notice" to inform the reader of the new expiration date. Book holders can also check personal loan information in OPAC, and the due date column in the loan list has the information of "original due date" and "due date after dunning".

(2) Readers who receive the Reminder of Book Reservation should return the book in time, otherwise the borrowing authority (including borrowing, renewal and reservation) will be stopped from the "expiration date after reminding".

(3) When the subscriber cancels the reservation request, the system will send a "book reservation reminder cancellation notice" by email to inform the reminded book that it has been restored to its original expiration date.

(4) When the book is reserved, the system will recalculate the expiration date.
