Can I pay for the electronic insurance policy?

Electronic insurance policy and paper insurance policy have the same legal effect and will not affect claims.

Article 4 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Electronic Signature Law stipulates that a data message that can tangibly express its contents and can be retrieved at any time shall be regarded as a written form that meets the requirements of laws and regulations.

According to Article 1 1 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Contract Law, written form refers to the form that can tangibly express the contents contained in contracts, letters and data messages (including telegrams, telex, faxes, electronic data interchange and e-mails).

Article 13 of the Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that an insurance policy or other insurance certificate shall specify the contents of the contract agreed by both parties. The parties may also agree to clarify the contents of the contract in other written forms.
