since it is a movie, it is inevitable that there will be fiction and artistic creation, and there is also a relatively heavy theme in it, that is, the eternal scar buried in the hearts of Tangshan people-Tangshan earthquake. I'm not sure what kind of trauma the disaster caused in his heart, but in order to make the story touching, I deliberately arranged the plot of one of Xing's relatives passing away.

I asked with some trepidation, "Manager Xing, you know that since it is a movie, there will be artistic processing. I don't know if there were any relatives around you in that big earthquake ..."

I have always defined the audience of this film as hundreds of thousands of pigeon friends in the pigeon industry, but the calf is not a person in the pigeon industry. From her personal perspective, these excellent qualities of kindness, gratitude and dedication that General Xing now has are inseparable from the education and influence of her grandmother.

? About the theme

Since it is a movie in the pigeon world, it must be inseparable from pigeons. On the ruins of the earthquake, for Mr. Xing, who just lost his mother, the injured pigeon that came down became the emotional sustenance in his heart. It was the pigeon that made Mr. Xing know several other friends who also lost their loved ones in the earthquake, which made Mr. Xing have an indissoluble bond with pigeons all his life, so that after giving up raising pigeons for ten years, he once again regained his childhood dream and embarked on the road of professional pigeon racing.

A few years after the earthquake, my father formed a new family again, which became a direct reason for the separation between father and son in the next decade. Ignorance in childhood and rebellion in adolescence, Mr. Xing always refused to live with his father and always lived with his grandmother. Because of the loss of his mother in the earthquake, his grandmother dotes on him more in life. In the eyes of relatives and friends, Xing is always a bad boy spoiled by his grandmother and is not valued by people.

Grandma's name is Magnolia. Although she has never read a book, in the eyes of General Xing, grandma is a person with great wisdom in life. It is her education from childhood that has cultivated Xing Wei's correct outlook on life and values and made him understand his gratitude and dedication. Therefore, after his success in his career, Mr. Xing began to donate money to run schools and care for the society by organizing pigeon racing charity auction and setting up a charity shed, and donated more than 1 million yuan to the society.

"Magnolia" is grandma's name, and it is also Xing Wei's spiritual belief and emotional sustenance for many years. Magnolia is holy, noble, but sincere and serene. Every time I see magnolia blooming, Xing Wei always thinks of grandma. That day, after filming was over, everyone went to dinner together. On the way, I told Meiyun the story of General Xing and Grandma. I said, "Now the script outline has been determined, and there is still a name left. Please help me think about it!"

after listening to these stories and experiences, Meiyun said without thinking, "I have already thought of a name for this movie!" "

I am happy, but I don't think so. I thought, this girl is a girl, and the name is so melodramatic. This is a movie about pigeon racing!

A few days later, I returned to Beijing. When I was writing a script at night, I accidentally turned over the interview records with General Xing in my notebook. General Xing's grandmother was born in 1917, and next year will be 217. Oh, my God! For 1 years, this is just to commemorate the centenary of grandma's birth! Magnolia blossoms, great! This name is perfect! "Pigeon racing love" and "pigeon love" ... In fact, these words were already excluded by me before the names were determined, and "Magnolia blossoms" will not make people feel tacky, but also poetic, and more importantly, it is seamless with the theme and protagonist of our film.
