Is the SMS IOU valid?

SMS IOUs have certain legal effect, but other evidence is needed to prove the authenticity of the evidence, such as transfer information. According to Article 2 of the Provisions on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in the Trial of Private Lending Cases, when a lender brings a lawsuit to a people's court, it shall provide debt certificates such as IOUs, receipts, IOUs and other evidence that can prove the existence of the legal relationship between lending and borrowing.
