Why can't I receive Unicom verification code?

If you use a Huawei mobile phone, your device can't receive the verification code message. Please check according to the following methods:

1. Enter the developer options to check the relevant settings.

Please go to Settings > System and Updates > Developer Options > Turn off the Don't Keep Alive switch in the application and set the Background Process Limit to Standard Limit.

2. Check whether the number is in the blacklist.

You can check whether it is set to block strange short messages and whether the number is included in the harassment interception blacklist. If yes, please turn off the function of intercepting strange short messages and remove the number from the blacklist if necessary.

3. If it is a mobile card and the enhanced information function is enabled, please switch to ordinary SMS.

Please switch the enhanced information to the general information interface: in the enhanced information chat interface, click the three points in the upper right corner > Switch to SMS/MMS.

4. Restart the network

It may be that network delay or server communication delay makes it impossible to receive short messages. You can try to switch the flight mode and re-trigger the short message sending under the network.

5. Set the Information application attached to the system as the default application.

(1) In order to protect your payment security and account security, the system prohibits third-party applications from obtaining the verification code SMS you received. It is recommended that you set the Information that came with your system as the default application and try again.

(2) If you still need to use a third-party SMS application, please turn off the protection function of the verification code. Closing method: information > three points > settings > verification code security protection.

6. Check whether to save the number to the privacy space.

If you have ever created a private space, you can check whether there is any record of receiving text messages in the private space. If yes, please move the contact you need to the main space. After the contact is moved to the main space, you can view the short messages in the main space.

7. Restore the default settings.

Please restore the information to the default settings and try again. The path is as follows:

EMUI 9。 X and above: information > three points > settings > three points, and select to restore the default settings.

HarmonyOS system: information > four points >; Settings > four o'clock, and select to restore the default settings.

8. Check whether the SIM card can receive the verification code when it is inserted into other mobile phones.

Insert the SIM card into other mobile phones and check whether you can receive the verification code. If the communication of the third-party server is delayed, the verification code message may not be received. It is recommended to contact the operator or a third-party APP for processing.
