How does iphone 4s delete the address book in batches?

IPhone4S address book does not support batch deletion, but it can be deleted all through iCloud.

Unlock iPhone4S, click "Settings", drop down to find "iCloud", and click to enter.

Click the Address Book button and swipe left, and you will be prompted to select "Delete from my iPhone".

When I returned to my desktop and opened my address book, I found that all my contacts had been deleted.
