In China, Mid-Autumn Festival is considered as a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all family members get together to celebrate this special moment. Last year, I couldn't celebrate this festival with my family. However, this special day left a deep impression on me.

I still remember the atmosphere that night. All the students who can't go home gathered in our classroom and held a party to celebrate this traditional festival. We try our best to show our enthusiasm. As a minority, I performed a peacock dance and got warm applause. After the two-hour party, we went to the playground and sat together to enjoy the moon, because this is the tradition of the Mid-Autumn Festival. We ate moon cakes, played cards and listened to a classmate recite romantic poems. In that harmonious atmosphere, no one feels lonely or homesick even though we are far away from home.

Thanks to our classmates, I experienced such a colorful and interesting Mid-Autumn Festival at school.

The Spring Festival is very important for China people. In the past, people could not eat meat, rice or other delicious food often. They can only eat these during the Spring Festival. So every year they hope that the Spring Festival will come soon. Now, although people's lives are much better, we can eat delicious food every day. People still like this festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, we are free to travel or visit friends or get together with family. In the evening, we can have a big meal in a restaurant, or stay at home with our family and watch TV programs.

I like the Spring Festival very much. How wonderful the Spring Festival is!
