Mobile banking (SMS) means that you edit and send text messages in a specific format to the bank’s special service number. The bank will handle inquiries, transfers, etc. according to your instructions. If you want to activate it, you can bring your valid ID and Peony card (excluding international cards) to register for mobile banking at a local branch that provides mobile banking services, and designate a mobile banking registration card. It is the default payment card. If you need to use the mobile banking transfer and remittance function, please activate the mobile banking external transfer function.

If you do not need to use the external transfer function, you can also log in to www.icbc.com.cn and click "Mobile Banking Self-Service Registration" to complete the self-service registration procedure. After self-service registration, you can only use the inquiry and donation functions. When you need to use the external transfer function in the future, please go to the local mobile banking outlet where you open an account with your valid ID and mobile banking registration card to apply for the "mobile banking external transfer function".
