"We have previously tested the cross-device messaging function on Win 10 mobile phone and Win 10PC, which is loved by WindowsInsider, but we believe that we can provide a better experience through SkypeUWP application. Based on this, we decided not to add this feature in the official version of Win 10' s first anniversary update this summer. Starting from Build 14376, users will not be able to reply to short messages from mobile phones on their PCs, but Cortana-related short message services will not be affected. In order to go further, we will work with the Skype team to create a better MessagingEverywhere service on Skype. "
