1. Finding problems

Winter vacation is here, and the New Year is coming soon. We can finally have a wonderful holiday. But, how can we have a healthy and happy winter vacation?

After asking the students in the class, I found that everyone’s plans were just to pay New Year greetings, do homework or surf the Internet. Most students felt that winter vacation was not interesting. So isn’t this winter vacation meaningless? I can't help but worry a little, can everyone have a meaningful winter vacation?

2. Survey Practice

In order to make this practice more universal, I made an appointment with two classmates to conduct an on-site survey.

Of course, the first people to be investigated are the students in our own class. (I designed a questionnaire, see Appendix 1 for details)

I sent 53 questionnaires online (there are 56 people in our class), and received 45 responses. According to Lu Shuyi’s statistics, there are One hundred percent of the students will do homework, watch TV and pay New Year greetings during the winter vacation, and 98% of the students will surf the Internet. Everyone is focused on these activities, and there is no plan for the winter vacation. They just go wherever they go. Regardless of the step, some parents will interfere with their children's original activity plans. They all ask their children to play less and do more preview and review work.

Then we went to society and set our sights further afield: Since the plans of our junior high school students are so boring, how will the plans of high school students be different?

3. Facing the public

I came to a supermarket in the city. People were coming and going. Everyone was in a hurry to buy new year’s goods. We didn’t I knew how to speak, but I finally saw a sister who looked like a high school student, but I didn't dare to go up and investigate, so I let this good opportunity go to waste, and it was too late to regret.

This won’t work. I took courage and was the first to accept the “challenge”.

"Coming, coming!" Zhou Xinkai shouted. I was very nervous, breathed a sigh of relief, stepped forward, and started my first investigator's inquiry. Although I stuttered through the questions, I was still encouraged by my partner, and the subsequent investigation went more smoothly. The three of us were at ease and worked harder. It’s true that practice makes perfect. Not only are we no longer shy, but we are more generous. After the survey is over, we don’t forget to say “Thank you and wish you a happy New Year!” It seems that there are many tips in this survey!

After a day of investigation and statistics, we found that both junior high school students and high school students must complete their homework 100%, and parents also hope that their children can check and fill in the vacancies during the winter vacation. Besides, the senior year of high school is about to take the college entrance examination, and the third year of junior high school is about to take the high school entrance examination. Their studies are very tight. The first grade of junior high school is relatively easy. Some students, including the second grade of junior high school, also have to attend cram schools during the winter vacation, and most of them do so involuntarily. This caused us to think that holidays are originally used to recuperate the body and mind. Why are you so nervous? And many students have never thought of strengthening physical exercise during the holidays.

Teacher Ma said that on the first day of winter vacation, students can try to write a semester summary to recall what they have learned in the semester that just ended, what gains they have made, what shortcomings they have, and what should be done during the vacation. Reflect on areas for improvement. The next day, you can write a winter vacation plan and arrange your daily schedule. Of course, the time arrangement must be scientific. Too tight or too loose will affect the quality of life during the winter vacation. With a plan that suits them, students will become the masters of time. In the last two days of the winter vacation, everyone will write a vacation summary and ask yourself what new gains you have gained during the vacation. 2 Etiquette education cannot be ignored

The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in my country. During the winter vacation, students can, with the help of their parents, collect and understand the etiquette and customs of the New Year, and consciously abide by them during the New Year.

At the same time, you must learn some communication terms and ways of dealing with others to lay the foundation for your future participation in society.

Respect the old, love the young, and visit the elders. During the winter vacation, students and their parents should take advantage of the Spring Festival to visit their grandparents, grandparents, etc., and send them New Year greetings and greetings.

Abide by rules and regulations and pay attention to order in public places. During the winter vacation, students should pay attention to traffic etiquette when going out by car or bicycle. Usually, students are busy at school and parents are busy at work, leaving little time to sit together and communicate. During the winter vacation, students have time to do more housework with their parents, visit relatives and friends, and enhance communication with their parents and relatives. Sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk with your loved ones and report on your studies. You can also discuss social hot topics with your loved ones to deepen your understanding of society. During the winter vacation, you can also go to bookstores, museums, and science and technology museums with your family to enrich your brain with your loved ones. You may be "surprised" to find that adults actually communicate very well.

Every middle school student hopes that while developing in an all-round way, he can have a skill and have his own interests and hobbies. However, in the normal busy study and life process, there is often no time to take care of it. Parents should allow children to participate in various cram schools based on their characteristics. It is recommended that students read some classics and science and technology books. If possible, it is also important to participate in more social practices. The focus of learning is thinking. You cannot just do the questions blindly. If you just do the questions without thinking, you will learn the knowledge to death.

The more important point is that parents cannot compare themselves to others and let their own children make up lessons as well.

Children should be allowed to do more things they like, such as guiding them to surf the Internet appropriately and learn to communicate; encourage children to study on their own and never blindly attend cram schools in society, especially those that teach new subjects.

Zhang Yan: On the premise of adequate rest, the school can assign some homework appropriately, and students can check for gaps and simple previews, but they must not make up new lessons. If they use the one-month holiday, they can Making up new lessons will lead to endless troubles. Because a one-semester course covers a lot of content, which requires systematic study and inferences. If it is completed in just one month without the process of digestion and absorption, even if it is barely completed, it will still be half-understood. If you start studying again after school starts, your children will feel that they have already learned and there will be no freshness. They will not take their studies seriously, which makes it very easy for them to "stuck students".

Qian Su: Children are on vacation, and their physical and mental health is very important. Proper physical exercise is essential. You can let them play the piano, chess, and ball. During the interview, we learned that parents’ decisions and interests play a big role in students’ winter vacation travel. The parents of Zhou, a high school student, like to travel. During this winter vacation, Zhou followed his parents to the "Dragon Tower", a new landscape in Harbin, visited the Window of Europe and Asia, skied at three ski resorts in the province, and visited the Ice Lantern Exhibition. . Although he "doesn't have to leave the province" and every time he goes out, he has to go back and forth on the same day, but he still feels full of interest, which adds a lot of color to the monotonous winter vacation life.

High school student An Changsi went to Anshan with his parents to visit relatives and travel to Dalian for 10 days. The only thing that displeased him was that the train was too crowded due to the flow of migrant workers and family visitors on this round trip.
