Economist exam subjects:

The economist exam is divided into junior economist exam and intermediate economist exam. Elementary and intermediate 2 subjects, senior economist 1 subject, specifically:

Elementary: Basic knowledge of economy, professional knowledge and practice.

Intermediate: basic economic knowledge, professional knowledge and practice.

Note: Junior and intermediate "Professional Knowledge and Practice" subjects are divided into 10 majors, including business administration, agricultural economy, finance and taxation, finance, insurance, human resource management, tourism economy, transportation economy, construction and real estate economy and intellectual property rights.

Cost engineer examination subjects:

The qualification examination of cost engineer is divided into four subjects: basic theory of project cost management and related laws and regulations, project cost pricing and control, construction engineering technology and measurement, and project cost case analysis. Among them, "Building Engineering Technology and Metrology" is divided into two sub-majors: "Civil Engineering" and "Installation", and applicants can choose one of them according to the actual work.

The first-level cost engineer examination consists of four subjects: construction project cost management, construction project valuation, construction project technology and measurement, and construction project cost case analysis. Among them, construction engineering cost management and construction engineering valuation are basic disciplines, and construction engineering technology and measurement and construction engineering cost case analysis are professional disciplines.

The results of the first-class cost engineer's professional qualification examination shall be managed in a rolling way, with a period of four years. Only after passing all the examination subjects for four consecutive examination years can the first-class cost engineer's professional qualification certificate be obtained. The validity period of the test-free basic subject test results is 2 years.

The second-level cost engineer examination consists of two subjects: the basic knowledge of construction project cost management and the practice of measurement and valuation of construction projects, in which the basic knowledge of construction project cost management is the basic subject and the practice of measurement and valuation of construction projects is the professional subject.

Grade II cost engineer's professional qualification examination results shall be managed in a rolling way, with a period of two years. Those who take the exams in all two subjects must pass all the subjects in two consecutive exam years before they can obtain the professional qualification certificate of the second-level cost engineer.
